Strong, light, easy to assemble, and cheap. What else could you want in a storage shelf? I'm going to be buying another one for my basement, because it really is the best option I've found.

I have 15 Sterilite products in my apt. Nine 4 shelf cabinets, five 4 shelf open units and one 5 shelf open unit. YOU tell me how I like them. The ONLY drawback to the cabinet shelves is that they buckle under too much weight. THEY could be a little stronger (I used some of the shelves for my veggie cans and soda bottles which are too heavy but with a small apt. I have no other place to put them).

But the problem is easily rectified once they do start to buckle (after about two years) because you can call the Sterilite people and get more shelves less than $5 per shelf). If you can get to a lumber yard, get some planks measured to the size of the shelf and put them in over the shelf for heavy stuff. I did that for my canned veggies etc and it works like a dream.

I bought this shelving unit about a week ago and I absolutely love it. It was very easy to assemble and it is very sturdy. I put it in my laundry room for extra storage space. I highly recommend this product.
